About The Position

Pape’ Material Handling, Inc. is hiring a Tire Technician in Fremont, California. The technician presses and mounts tires on lift trucks, man lifts, skid steers, and other equipment, and performs related tire work. Work is primarily in the field, traveling in a Pape’ service vehicle to service equipment and interact with customers. Requirements

• Two years of tire pressing experience and mechanical aptitude are preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Ability to drive a bobtail truck and a 24-foot box van.
• Ability to frequently lift and move at least 75 pounds unassisted.
• Ability to operate a forklift; training is available.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of tire pressing experience.

Responsibilities

• Press and mount tires on lift trucks, man lifts, skid steers, and other equipment.
• Perform related tire work.
• Travel to field locations in a Pape’ service vehicle to work on equipment and interact with customers.
