About The Position

The Sales & Service position is responsible for the sales, service, and maintenance of tires and wheels. The role provides excellent customer service and completes work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct. On-the-job training is offered for a variety of skills. The technician installs and maintains tires and wheels, performs related service work, uses and maintains equipment, assists other employees, and may test drive vehicles or operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services. The role also supports store sales and uses the Best Tire Value Promise to engage customers. The position requires frequent lifting of 35–75 pounds and frequent bending, twisting, and kneeling, as well as continuous squatting, reaching, walking, and standing. Pay is $16.50–$28.00. Benefits for full-time positions are available after eligibility criteria are met and are governed by plan documents and company policy; benefits may change at any time. Higher minimum wage applies in applicable locations.

Requirements

Valid driver's license.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
Frequent lifting of 35–75 pounds.
Frequent bending, twisting, and kneeling.
Continuous squatting, reaching, walking, and standing.

Responsibilities

Install and maintain tires and wheels.
Repair, rotate, and inflate tires.
Attach and rebalance wheels.
Install or rebuild TPMS and relearn or calibrate TPMS as needed.
Wash tires and wheels.
Test and install batteries.
Use and maintain equipment.
Assist other employees.
Test drive vehicles.
Operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.
Provide excellent customer service and promote store sales.
Use the Best Tire Value Promise to engage customers.
Complete work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.
