Tire Technician

About The Position
Tire Technicians work in a fast-paced environment and help maintain clean facilities while providing friendly service. They interact with customers and drivers and handle tire sales, removals, and replacements for vehicles including commercial vehicles, both in the shop and through roadside service. The role also includes equipment repair and maintenance and general facility housekeeping. Love’s provides training for applicants without prior experience. The position requires a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
Requirements
- Ability to move and lift 75 or more pounds while working in close quarters.
- Ability to work in various temperatures.
- Ability to obtain a Department of Transportation medical card; Love’s pays for it.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of tire sales, removal, and replacement for vehicles, including commercial vehicles, in the shop and through roadside service.
- Repair and maintain equipment and the store facility, including general housekeeping.
- Prioritize customer safety and satisfaction and comply with company safety policies and procedures.
- Work a rotating schedule alternating between day and night as needed.
