Tire Technician Full Time $1000 Sign on Bonus
About The Position
The Tire Technician assists members with selecting and purchasing tires, verifies tire sizes for vehicles, and installs and repairs tires. The role includes mounting, dismounting, rotating, and balancing tires; completing tire bay scheduling data and sales and service documentation; maintaining supply inventory; and following tire bay policies, procedures, safety, and cleanliness standards. The technician provides knowledgeable service at the tire desk, uses available special-order tire programs, maintains tire displays and automotive products, and keeps the tire bay and waiting area clean and professional. The position may also include filling propane tanks when properly certified, disposing of tires, and working in other departments as needed. Team members are expected to support club policies and compliance, deliver excellent member service, maintain a safe and positive environment, collaborate respectfully, and uphold daily club standards. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills or willingness to learn basic computer skills.
- Must pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire.
- Ability to lift over 30 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities
- Assist members with tire selection and purchase, including verifying tire sizes for vehicles.
- Install tires by mounting, dismounting, rotating, and balancing them; perform tire repairs as needed.
- Complete tire bay scheduling data and documentation for sales and service orders.
- Provide knowledgeable service to members at the tire desk and coordinate with Home Office regarding member tire needs as needed.
- Maintain accurate and complete supply inventory and appropriately use available special-order tire programs.
- Dispose of tires properly and fill propane tanks as needed when certified according to DOT requirements.
- Maintain a clean, professional tire bay and waiting area, and merchandise tire displays and automotive products.
- Comply with safety and cleanliness standards and properly use tire bay equipment.
- Maintain club policies and procedures and perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
- Deliver service excellence, address member concerns, and contribute to a safe, positive member and team environment.
- Maintain daily club standards, including stocked items, promotional plans, accurate signage, and clean, organized spaces.
