About The Position
Tire Technicians work in a fast-paced environment, maintain clean places, and provide friendly service to customers and drivers. The role involves selling, removing, and replacing tires—including tires for commercial vehicles—in the shop and during roadside service. Technicians also help repair equipment and maintain the store facility. No prior experience is required; training is provided.
Requirements
- Ability to move and lift 75 or more pounds while working in close quarters.
- Ability to work in various temperatures.
- Ability to obtain a Department of Transportation medical card; Love’s pays for it.
Responsibilities
- Sell, remove, and replace tires, including tires for commercial vehicles, in the shop and during roadside service.
- Repair equipment and help maintain the store facility, including general housekeeping.
- Put customer safety and satisfaction first and comply with company safety policies and procedures.
- Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
