Tire Technician (Seasonal)
About The Position
As a Tire Technician at Belle Tire, you provide expert tire services—including installation, maintenance, repairs, and rotations—to keep customers moving. The role calls for a passion for working on cars and a commitment to outstanding customer service in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment focused on safety and quality. Tire Technicians are central to the business and can use the role as a starting point for a career at Belle Tire. The position is based in a tire and automotive service retail store. Work takes place in a fast-paced workshop and includes varying hours Monday through Saturday, with possible overtime. Physical demands include extended standing, bending, and lifting up to 75 pounds.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have a valid driver's license.
- Demonstrate attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Have a customer-first mindset.
- Be able to stand for long periods, bend, and lift up to 75 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in tire services or automotive repair.
Responsibilities
- Mount, dismount, balance, rotate, and repair tires on customer vehicles.
- Ensure all work meets Belle Tire's quality and safety standards, including cleaning hubs and wheels for corrosion.
- Explain tire options, maintenance needs, and repairs to customers, delivering exceptional service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
