About The Position

The Sales & Service position is responsible for the sales, service, and maintenance of tires and wheels. The role provides excellent customer service and completes work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct. Les Schwab offers opportunities for a variety of skills, with on-the-job training. The position includes installing and maintaining tires and wheels; repairing, rotating, and inflating tires; attaching and rebalancing wheels; installing, rebuilding, relearning, or calibrating TPMS; washing tires and wheels; testing and installing batteries; using and maintaining equipment; assisting other employees; test driving vehicles; and operating service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services. The technician also promotes store sales and uses the Best Tire Value Promise to engage customers.

Requirements

Valid driver's license.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
Frequent lifting of weights between 35 and 75 pounds.
Frequent bending, twisting, and kneeling.
Continuous squatting, reaching, walking, and standing.

Responsibilities

Install and maintain tires and wheels.
Repair, rotate, and inflate tires.
Attach and rebalance wheels.
Install or rebuild TPMS and relearn or calibrate it.
Wash tires and wheels.
Test and install batteries.
Use and maintain equipment.
Assist other employees.
Test drive vehicles.
Operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.
Provide excellent customer service and promote store sales.
Use the Best Tire Value Promise to engage customers.
Complete work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.
