About The Position

Enterprise Mobility is hiring a part-time Tire & Lube Technician for the National/Alamo brand at its San Jose Service Center. The Maintenance Technician performs vehicle repairs, preventive maintenance, in-fleeting service, and buy-back/turn-back service in accordance with company policies and procedures. This routine-difficulty position requires reasonable judgment and initiative, with a focus on customer needs and the company’s quality standards. Starting pay is $22.47 per hour. The schedule is Friday through Sunday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous technician or mechanical experience required.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require current or future work authorization sponsorship from the company.
• Must be able to understand, read, write, and speak English.
• Must be able to work Friday through Sunday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete vehicle maintenance inspections, including checking tires, brakes, and fluid levels.
• Perform preventive maintenance, including oil changes and tire rotations, according to manufacturer specifications and guidelines.
• Repair and replace tires.
• Replace wearable parts such as bulbs and wipers.
• Document repair orders accurately, including the steps taken and parts used.
• Comply with part and inventory tracking procedures.
• Provide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of services.
• May process new fleet, fuel reclamation, or buy-backs.
• Follow procedures to comply with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Keep the work area safe and clean and comply with uniform and equipment standards.
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
