About The Position
Daniels Tire Service is a family-owned business serving Southern California for over 100 years. The General Service Technician is an entry- to mid-level position responsible for vehicle maintenance and repair services, including oil changes, tire rotations, tire repairs and replacements, and other light work or repairs depending on skill level. The technician works under the guidance of an experienced automotive professional and participates in training. The role requires some automotive repair experience, the ability to learn quickly and follow instructions and shop procedures, attention to detail, and a commitment to honesty and fairness. Technicians contribute to the shop’s reputation for trustworthy and dependable tire and auto repair service.
Requirements
- Some experience in automotive repair.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to learn quickly, receive instructions, and follow shop procedures.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to honesty and fairness.
Responsibilities
- Review work orders and discuss them with service advisors as needed.
- Note any physical damage to vehicles.
- Complete vehicle inspections.
- Perform tire repairs, rotations, and replacements.
- Perform general vehicle maintenance, including oil changes and other light work.
- Participate in training.
