About The Position
As a Tire & Battery Technician at Sam’s Club, you’ll play a key role in providing safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas. From installing tires to assisting members with product selection, your work helps deliver the quality and value our members can trust. In this role, you’ll spend your day completing tire and battery services, supporting sales, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safety and compliance standards are met while delivering a great member experience. This is a hands-on role using tools, equipment, and mechanical skills, offering valuable technical and service experience. You will work alongside a supportive team that values safety, quality, and collaboration, with opportunities to grow your career through training and development.
Requirements
- Valid state-issued driver's license
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Mechanical aptitude or experience working with tools and equipment
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Prioritize safety and follow established procedures
- Provide excellent member service and support
- Adapt quickly to new tools, technology, and processes
- Available for flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Responsibilities
- Perform tire installations, repairs, and battery services according to company standards
- Ensure all services meet safety, compliance, and quality guidelines
- Operate equipment and tools safely and efficiently
- Assist members with purchasing decisions and recommend appropriate products and services
- Process transactions and support sales in the Tire & Battery Center
- Maintain accurate inventory, monitor supplies, and support ordering processes
- Complete required documentation, logs, and service records
- Identify and report safety concerns, equipment issues, and service opportunities
