About The Position

The Tire and Lube Technician is an entry-level position with Hertz Corporation and a starting point for its maintenance team. The role performs preventative vehicle maintenance, with a focus on oil and tire changes. Candidates must be quick learners, able to perform vehicle repairs with oversight, and have the tools needed to complete repairs.

Requirements

• No prior experience is required.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have tools needed to perform necessary repairs.
• Must be able to perform vehicle repairs with oversight.
• Must be able to use shop equipment such as lifts, tire-changing equipment, alignment machines, and scan tools.
• Minimum tools include 3/8-inch and 1/2-inch impact wrenches; metric and standard socket wrenches, preferably in long and short lengths; oil filter wrenches and tools; a TPMS tool for resetting tire sensors; combination wrenches; and screwdrivers.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior automotive repair experience, personal or professional, preferred.
