About The Position

Northwest Tire is hiring a Tire and Lube Technician to perform routine vehicle maintenance and tire services for passenger vehicles and light trucks. The role includes inspecting vehicles, identifying maintenance and safety needs, performing service work to manufacturer specifications, and communicating recommendations to customers and service advisors. Technicians are expected to use automotive service equipment safely, maintain accurate records, follow safety and environmental requirements, and keep the service bay organized. The position is Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with rotating Saturdays and no Sundays.

Requirements

Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks, and lubrication services.
Mount, balance, rotate, repair, and replace tires for passenger vehicles and light trucks.
Conduct multi-point vehicle inspections to identify maintenance needs and recommend additional services.
Check and adjust tire pressure, wheel torque, and fluid levels to manufacturer specifications.
Inspect brakes, batteries, belts, hoses, and suspension components for wear and safety concerns.
Safely and efficiently operate tire equipment, wheel balancers, hydraulic lifts, and other automotive service equipment.
Maintain accurate service records and communicate repair recommendations to customers and service advisors.
Comply with company safety standards and environmental regulations, including proper disposal of used oil and tires.
Keep the service bay clean, organized, and stocked with necessary tools and supplies.
Deliver fast, high-quality customer service while meeting productivity and quality standards.
