About The Position
Perform welding production activities as work orders and production schedules dictate. Work together with Production Manager and Inventory/Purchasing to meet production needs on a daily basis.
Requirements
- Minimum High School Diploma/GED.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 30 pounds as necessary.
- 2+ years of TIG Welding experience.
- Ability to handle various tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to prioritize, plan and execute.
- Ability to work independently.
- Manufacturing experience desired.
Responsibilities
- Weld assemblies according to manufacturer's directions and specifications and utilizing fixtures.
- Assist in the development and creation of new fixtures for products old and new.
- Complete work tasks as indicated by work orders and production schedules.
- Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to Production Manager.
- Completion of Inventory and Production documentation.
- Work in a safe and clean manner by complying with procedures, rules, and company policies.
- Stage welded product in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Cross training (Both participate in learning and teaching already known tasks/positions)
- Other duties and/or tasks may be assigned on an as needed basis.
