About The Position

A TIG Welder job involves using Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) equipment to precisely join various metals (steel, aluminum, stainless) by interpreting blueprints, preparing materials, operating machinery, and inspecting welds for quality, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols, and producing clean, functional metal structures.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older
Ability to stand for long periods
Some lifting is required up to 50 lbs.
TIG Welder with 1 to 5 years of experience
Must be a reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented individual

Nice To Haves

Mechanical experience is a plus
The ability to read technical drawings and blueprints is a plus

Responsibilities

Perform precise TIG welding on various metals, often including stainless steel, aluminum, and exotic alloys.
Read and understand technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to determine project specifications.
Clean, cut, fit, and assemble metal components for welding.
Set up, operate, and maintain TIG welding machines, torches, and related tools.
Inspect welds for accuracy, strength, and aesthetic quality, ensuring compliance with standards (e.g., AWS).
Adhere to all safety procedures, wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and maintain a clean work area.
