They specialize in repairing, modifying, and assembling various components, including injection molding dies, Aerospace, and Medical devices, using tig and laser cladding. Requirements
- Successful completion of accredited welding course or equivalent on the job training and 5-10 years high level TIG welding experience.
- Good manual dexterity with attention to detail.
- Able to solve problems and offer solutions to management.
- Dependable and prompt.
- Works well independently and with others.
Responsibilities
- Read blueprints and assembly drawings in addition to advance technical specifications.
- Use safety and general shop housekeeping to operate a welding station.
- Fit and assemble machined metal parts/sub-assemblies.
- Use expertise to weld complex, high variety, low volume part work.
- Complete all necessary documentation for proper tracking of work.
- Verify part quality.
