About The Position
Allied Stainless, an affiliate of Ameritech Facility Services, manufactures stainless steel food service and laboratory equipment at its facility in Ball Ground, Georgia. The company is hiring experienced TIG welders to produce high-quality welds on light-gauge stainless steel materials. The role also involves grinding and polishing welds to create sanitary, smooth finishes that meet NSF/ETL requirements. This position is on second shift, from 4:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.
Requirements
- Experience producing high-quality TIG welds on light-gauge stainless steel materials.
- Experience with fitting, welding, and finishing.
- Ability to grind and polish welds to meet sanitary and smooth-finish requirements.
Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality TIG welds on light-gauge stainless steel materials.
- Grind and polish welds to achieve sanitary, smooth finishes that meet NSF/ETL requirements.
- Safely manufacture and install equipment from raw material, including fitting, welding, and finishing.
