Requirements

• Proficient in various welding methods such as MIG, TIG, and/or Arc welding.
• Identifies and resolves common welding issues using established procedures.
• Skilled in operating welding equipment and related machinery safely and effectively.
• Communicates effectively with team members and supervisors to support workflow and escalate immediate issues.
• Adherence to Woodward's Core Values.
• Effectively manages time to complete assigned tasks within established schedules.
• Adheres to individual schedule.
• Follows lean practices such as 5S and waste reduction.
• Participates in continuous improvement activities.
• Understands and adheres standardized work and escalates when it cannot be followed.

Responsibilities

• Executes welding tasks using standardized techniques and equipment in accordance with established procedures.
• Conducts regular inspections and routine maintenance of welding tools and machinery to ensure optimal functionality.
• Utilizes technical drawings and specifications to accurately guide welding processes and ensure precise outcomes.
• Inspects welded components to verify compliance with quality and safety standards, addressing any discrepancies.
• Knowledge of and adherence to safety protocols and regulations in welding environments.
