About The Position

Ticket Sales and Administration staff play a key front-line role in delivering exceptional guest service at Hidden Valley Ski Resort. In this dynamic, multi-faceted position, staff are responsible for ticket sales operations, responding to guest inquiries, and coordinating Snow School lesson bookings. As a primary point of contact for guests at the hill, they create a welcoming environment and ensure each guest’s experience is enjoyable from arrival through departure. This position primarily works indoors, with some outdoor work required.

Requirements

  • High School diploma.
  • Prior to hire, recognized current Intermediate Standard First Aid and CPR Level “C”/AED Certificates are needed, and must be maintained as current for the entire period of hire by the employee.
  • Equivalencies will be considered based on one year of experience for one year of education.

Nice To Haves

  • Point-of sales and customer service experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills and computer literacy.
  • Knowledge of park facilities/services, especially Hidden Valley Ski Resort.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with guest inquiries, snow school bookings, ticket and season pass sales and cash handling.
  • General daily administration/reception duties for all departments.
  • Operating cash register and point-of-sales system.
  • Responding to and resolving customer complaints.
  • Assisting with other departmental duties as operationally required.

Benefits

  • 11.6% in lieu of benefits and vacation leave
  • 5.6 percent of regular wage earnings instead of paid holidays.
  • 6 percent of regular wage earnings instead of annual vacation pay.
  • $3.25 per hour for weekends and holidays shift premium pay
  • $2.75 per hour for evenings shift premium pay
