About The Position

Performs and oversees office management and support duties for the Ticket Office; sells season and individual game tickets on a daily basis using the Agile ticket system; assists the Ticket manager with their duties as needed; supervises student workers. Receives and assists visitors; receives and directs phone calls; opens and routes mail. Assists with compliance duties as assigned by the Assistant AD for compliance. Coordinates on-campus recruiting visits, coordinates or assists in the coordination of fundraising events, and works all football and some basketball games. Requirements

  • High school diploma with three (3) years of recent clerical or related experience or a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with one (1) year of related professional experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent computer, word processing and spreadsheet skills
  • Ability to interpret and follow University, conference, and NCAA policies and procedures
  • Ability to manage a variety of responsibilities efficiently with frequent interruptions
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to organize and set priorities regarding work assignments
  • Ability to handle confidential information in a responsible manner
  • Ability to supervise workers
  • Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with a diverse group of staff, student-athletes, University personnel, and the public
  • Ability to work weekend and evening hours, including travel to away competitions

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel software

Responsibilities

  • Performs and oversees office management and support duties for the Ticket Office
  • Sells season and individual game tickets on a daily basis using the Agile ticket system
  • Assists the Ticket Manager with their duties as needed and in their absence
  • Serves as the backup petty cash clerk
  • Supervises student workers
  • Assists with compliance duties as assigned by the Assistant AD for Compliance
  • Receives and assists visitors
  • Receives and directs phone calls
  • Opens and routes mail
  • Prepares incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Verifies procard expenditures
  • Acquires and maintains office supplies
  • Coordinates on-campus recruiting visits
  • Coordinates or assists in the coordination of fundraising events
  • Works all football and basketball games and any events hosted by Athletics
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
