Box Office Ticket Buyer for Lubbock, TX
About The Position
The Ticket Buyer purchases tickets at venue box offices for live events and shows, including music, sports, and theatrical performances. The role receives ticket purchase orders through a smartphone app, travels to venues, and uses a company-provided credit card to purchase tickets. After each purchase, the buyer enters the purchase details in the app and ships the tickets to the company. Commissions are paid weekly by direct deposit after the tickets are received; there is no base pay. The schedule is flexible, with work generally needed about two days per week for one to four hours per day, between 10:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m., depending on venue box office hours.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Be eligible to work in the United States.
- Be physically able to drive, ride, or walk to venues to buy tickets.
- Have a smartphone to view order requests and enter detailed purchase information.
- Be able to work approximately two days per week, one to four hours per day, generally between 10:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.; venue box office hours vary.
- Be able to communicate through SMS.
- Be accurate, detail-oriented, and result-driven.
- Be trustworthy, reliable, and engaging.
- Have good verbal communication skills.

- Experience as a rideshare or delivery driver, shopper, courier, or in other gig-type work may be a good fit.
