About The Position
The Ticket Buyer purchases tickets at venue box offices for live events and shows, including music, sports, and theatrical performances. Buyers receive purchase orders through a smartphone app, travel to venues, purchase tickets using a company-provided credit card, enter purchase details in the app, and ship the tickets to the company. The role offers commission on every ticket purchased, paid weekly by direct deposit after the tickets are received; there is no base pay. No experience is necessary. The position generally requires availability about two days per week for one to four hours per day, with venue box office hours varying, typically between 10:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Be eligible to work in the United States.
- Be physically able to drive, ride, or walk to venues to buy tickets.
- Have a smartphone to view order requests and enter detailed purchase information.
- Be able to work approximately two days per week, one to four hours per day, generally between 10:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.; venue box office hours vary.
- Be able to communicate through SMS.
- Be accurate, detail-oriented, and result-driven.
- Be trustworthy, reliable, and engaging.
- Have good verbal communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a rideshare or delivery driver, shopper, courier, or in other gig-type jobs may be a good fit; experience is not necessary.
