About The Position

The Ticket Buyer purchases tickets at venue box offices for live music, sports, and theatrical events. Buyers receive purchase orders through an app on their smartphone, travel to venues, and use a company-provided credit card to purchase tickets. They enter purchase details in the app and ship the tickets to the company. The role pays commissions on each ticket purchase, with commissions paid weekly by direct deposit after tickets are received; there is no base pay. The schedule is flexible, with an expected commitment of approximately two days per week and one to four hours per day, generally between 10:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. Venue box office hours vary.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Be eligible to work in the United States.
Be physically able to drive, ride, or walk to venues to buy tickets.
Have a smartphone to view order requests and enter purchase information.
Be able to work approximately two days per week, one to four hours per day, generally between 10:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.
Be able to communicate through SMS.
Be accurate, detail-oriented, and result-driven.
Be trustworthy, reliable, and engaging.
Have good verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience as a rideshare or delivery driver, shopper, courier, or in other gig-type jobs may be a good fit; no experience is necessary.
