THS Daily Substitute Instructor (Trades)
About The Position
The Connecticut Technical Education and Career System (CTECS) is actively seeking Trades Subjects Substitute Teachers. CTECS has been a leading force in Career Technical Education (CTE) in the State of Connecticut for over 100 years, operating 17 diploma-granting technical high schools, one technical education center, and two airframe mechanics and aircraft maintenance programs. The school system provides a direct employment pipeline for high school students and adult learners. This role is crucial for ensuring the continuity of education in academic and trade coursework in the absence of a regular instructor. This position will require a criminal background check, and an Educational Employer Verification Form may be required if you have previous employment where you had contact with children.
Requirements
- Minimum of four (4) years of trade experience.
- Must submit to required DCF and criminal background checks.
- Must specify qualifications on the application.
- Must meet minimum experience and training requirements by the close date.
