About The Position

The Academic Coordinator will play a central role in the academic success and holistic development of students within the Thrive Program, an after-school and summer school initiative for students in grades K-8. This position is responsible for ensuring the seamless implementation of academic programming aligned with the goals and mission of the afterschool program. They will provide direct instruction, oversee academic tutoring, and collaborate with the Wellness Coordinator to address the holistic needs of students while maintaining effective communication with stakeholders. This position is 21st CCLC grant funded.

Requirements

• Pass background check
• Pass pre-employment physical
• Valid driver's license

Nice To Haves

• Bachelors Degree in Education or a related field
• Experience teaching in a K-8 educational setting
