About The Position

Chambliss Center for Children is hiring a reliable, hardworking team member for its Brainerd Thrift Store. This physically demanding, hands-on role supports donations, store operations, and cleanliness. The position is part-time, 25–30 hours per week, pays $12 per hour, and requires weekend availability. The role involves working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Requirements

• Dependability and readiness to work.
• Ability to work independently and remain productive without constant supervision.
• Friendly and respectful manner when interacting with donors and customers.
• Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift.
• Ability to regularly lift and carry 50+ pounds.
• Ability to push, pull, bend, reach, and remain active throughout the day.
• Weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Accept and unload community donations with a friendly, helpful attitude.
• Lift, move, and arrange furniture, appliances, and other heavy items.
• Stock merchandise and move items throughout the store.
• Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Perform regular janitorial and cleaning duties to keep the store safe and presentable.
• Assist with general store operations as needed to support daily workflow.
