About The Position

The Thrift Store Associate works in an Idaho Youth Ranch thrift store, representing the organization and supporting its mission to nurture hope, healing, and resilience in Idaho’s youth. The associate sells donated items, with proceeds funding the organization’s programs and services. The role also involves processing sales, preparing donated merchandise, and moving or loading items. Candidates must live within a reasonable distance of the Idaho location.

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills and the ability to WOW customers.
• Ability to work weekends.
• Must be within a reasonable distance of the Idaho location.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Idaho Youth Ranch.
• Operate cash registers and credit/check processing equipment.
• Sort, clean, price, and stock donated merchandise.
• Operate pallet jacks, hand carts, lift gates, and other loading or moving equipment.
