About The Position

The Thrift Store Associate works in an Idaho Youth Ranch thrift store and supports the organization’s mission to nurture hope, healing, and resilience in Idaho’s youth. The role sells donated merchandise, with proceeds funding the organization’s programs and services. Associates represent Idaho Youth Ranch, serve customers, process transactions, and prepare donated merchandise for sale. The position is located in Idaho, and candidates must live within a reasonable distance of the work location.

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills and the ability to WOW customers.
• Ability to work weekends.
• Must be within a reasonable distance of the Idaho work location.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Idaho Youth Ranch.
• Provide customer service to thrift store customers.
• Operate cash registers and credit/check processing equipment.
• Sort, clean, price, and stock donated merchandise.
• Operate pallet jacks, hand carts, lift gates, and other loading and moving equipment.
