About The Position

Nucor Towers and Structures (NTS) is a new entity within Nucor, focused on expanding beyond its core business into the power distribution market. As part of Nucor’s New Markets product group, NTS is focused on the exciting growth potential in the power distribution market. Current production facilities are in West Hazleton, PA; Decatur, AL; and Crawfordsville, IN with plans to build a national footprint. The Production Supervisor's responsibilities include taking care of customers by executing the division’s safety, quality, cost, productivity, and profitability objectives. This role involves being a positive member of the leadership team, actively developing teammates within the company culture, overseeing training, and communicating information across departments regarding safety, quality, and production. Safety is paramount, and candidates must demonstrate the ability to uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards.

Requirements

High school diploma/GED
Effective communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
Commitment to safety, actively involved in their division’s safety initiatives.

Nice To Haves

Experience working in a Greenfield environment
Experience working in Operations
Experience writing/reviewing procedures and training manuals
Computer knowledge/skills
Strongly prefer hot-dipped galvanizing experience
