About The Position

Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation's Frisco-Grapevine Day Neuro outpatient clinic is seeking a PRN Therapy Aide to assist with patient care, transportation, and clinic operations. Responsibilities include supporting therapists with patient transfers and toileting, infection control cleaning, equipment maintenance, patient transportation, therapeutic activity setup, exercise group facilitation, and light clerical duties. This position's home clinic will be Grapevine but the expectation would be that the candidate is willing to also float to our Frisco Day Neuro clinic as needed. The ideal candidate is energetic, compassionate, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced outpatient neurological rehabilitation setting.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License

Nice To Haves

• One or more years of hospital experience as therapy aide
• BLS Certification or completion within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care, transportation, and clinic operations.
• Support therapists with patient transfers and toileting.
• Perform infection control cleaning.
• Maintain equipment.
• Transport patients.
• Set up therapeutic activities.
• Facilitate exercise groups.
• Perform light clerical duties.
• Float to Frisco Day Neuro clinic as needed.
