About The Position

The Therapist leads collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to develop, coordinate, and facilitate direct social services interventions for patients on their caseload and their support systems. The role uses empirically supported approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and family therapy, to support stabilization and recovery for people with mental and behavioral health concerns. Therapists foster a safe, supportive environment in which patients can understand connections among thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and work toward their goals. The position may also provide training, supervision, guidance, and support to less experienced therapists and student interns. The Therapist works in an acute care setting that may include inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, and/or intensive outpatient services. This is a PRN role, providing coverage as needed when the clinic is open. There are no set hours or consistent days; the current need is weekly Saturday coverage. The position also supports patient and facility safety, regulatory compliance, staff onboarding and development, interdisciplinary communication, and system-wide continuous improvement. Other duties may be assigned to support patient care and system initiatives.
