About The Position

KidsPeace is a private charity that supports the behavioral and mental health needs of children, families, and communities. The Telehealth Outpatient Therapist provides remote outpatient therapy from a home office, delivering individual and family therapy across all age groups. The role assesses clients’ mental health needs, develops individualized treatment plans, supports clients in achieving therapeutic goals, and prepares them for discharge and ongoing care. The therapist maintains timely and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with KidsPeace policies and regulatory requirements. The position is part-time and offers a flexible schedule, virtual onboarding, and training.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a Human Services-related field.
• Minimum of two years of experience in Human Services.
• Basic personal computer knowledge and skills.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Nice To Haves

• Applicable state licensure or licensed-eligible status is preferred.
• Experience with acute emotionally challenged children or adolescents is preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive client assessments and develop client-centered, individualized treatment plans.
• Identify client challenges, establish treatment goals, and support clients in achieving those goals through therapeutic interventions.
• Provide individual and family therapy services aligned with treatment plan objectives.
• Develop discharge plans that address each client’s ongoing needs and promote continuity of care.
• Complete required clinical documentation accurately and within established timelines.
• Ensure compliance with KidsPeace policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory standards.
