About The Position

The Therapist Supervisor will oversee the department, providing supervision and guidance to a maximum of four therapists. This role also includes direct patient care for outpatients and swing bed patients in an acute hospital setting. The Therapist Supervisor will collaborate closely with the Director of Nursing (DON) to ensure the department operates effectively and meets the needs of the patients.

Requirements

• Relevant professional license and qualification to practice as a therapist.
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively with patients.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to assess and understand the needs of patients in an acute care setting.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a supervisory role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor up to four therapists within the department.
• Provide guidance and support to the Director of Nursing.
