About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality care to our residents. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering essential nursing services and support in a long-term care environment.
Requirements
- Current LPN license in good standing.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and provide compassionate care to residents.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with medical software.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in long-term care or similar settings is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and mobility.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with facility policies.
- Collaborate with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents and their families.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
