About The Position
Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is seeking a compassionate individual to join their team as a Therapist. This role provides critical intervention to children and adolescents with severe emotional and behavioral health needs within a residential setting. The position is responsible for developing individualized master treatment plans, providing individual, family, and group counseling, completing clinical documentation, and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to review client treatment, goals, progress, and future needs.
Requirements
- Master's degree in counseling, social work, or psychology field required
- 2+ years experience working with children or families in need of mental health, behavioral health, crisis intervention, or related required
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- Valid Driver's license required
- Successfully pass pre-employment medical screenings which include: Drug Test and TB Test
- Successfully pass a Level 2 background screening with the State of Florida
Nice To Haves
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Mental Health Counselor in the State of Florida preferred
Responsibilities
- Development of individualized master treatment plans
