This position provides evidence-based clinical services to consumers. Primary duties include providing positive role-modeling, promoting self-esteem, healthy boundaries, good hygiene, appropriate personal appearance, and reinforcing socially acceptable behaviors and decision-making skills. The role involves assessing consumers' history of trauma, acuity, strengths, and needs, and screening, evaluating, and triaging potential consumers to determine appropriate services and evidence-based interventions. This includes administering various assessments such as Biopsychosocial, Caregiver Strain, CAFAS/PECAFAS, and validated tools specific to evidence-based practices like 7 Challenges, TFCBT, DBT, and ARC. The position also requires developing and monitoring Individualized Recovery and Resiliency Plans (IRRPs), evaluating and documenting progress, and coordinating services with various internal and external entities. This includes making referrals to meet consumers' health, well-being, education, mental health, and employment needs, and facilitating/participating in team meetings. Collaboration with other CHRIS 180 programs and external providers is essential for best care services. The role also involves attending monthly RBWO meetings or providing treatment summaries for group home clients, advocating on behalf of clients, and monitoring service provision. Specific services include demonstrating exceptional engagement skills and clinical expertise in trauma-focused, trauma-informed individual treatment for clients of all ages, managing a clinical caseload, and using preventive intervention techniques. Outpatient services include individual, family, and group counseling for consumers with mental health, co-occurring, or substance abuse disorders, as well as CSI services for Medicaid-funded children and families.
