The Mental Health Crisis Intervention Specialist is responsible for crisis intervention, direct service and plays a crucial role in providing rapid response and support to individuals facing various crises, such as emotional distress, mental health crises, trauma, or situational emergencies. They are responsible for evaluating the situation, ensuring the safety of the individual, and offering immediate assistance and resources to help them regain emotional stability and well-being. The Mental Health Crisis Intervention Specialist is also responsible for clinical guidance for direct service staff, support staff training needs and maintain close working relationships the Program Director.
