About The Position

This position is responsible for the overall management and operation of the school theater. This includes overseeing technical aspects, managing staff and volunteers, coordinating events, and ensuring the safety and functionality of the facility.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in theater management or technical theater.
• Knowledge of stage lighting, sound systems, and stagecraft.
• Ability to manage staff and volunteers.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Must complete the entire work history in the "Experience and Credentials" section of the application, including periods of unemployment, schooling, and volunteer work.
• Required documents must be attached at the time of application.

Responsibilities

• Manage and operate the school theater facilities.
• Oversee technical aspects of productions and events.
• Supervise and train theater staff and volunteers.

• Ensure the safety and maintenance of theater equipment and facilities.
• Manage budgets and resources for the theater department.
• Liaise with school administration, faculty, students, and external groups regarding theater use.
