About The Position

The Optimist brings a menu of casual, wood-fired fare to Nashville’s Germantown neighborhood, transporting landlocked Tennesseans coast side to experience fresh, sustainably sourced seafood. The Optimist is seeking an experienced Cook to join our Nashville family! With a seafood-inspired, seasonally driven menu, The Optimist Cook has a strong knowledge and understanding of the preparation of hot and cold food items and ability to communicate and expedite food items on the back line while managing his/her assigned station to ultimately ensure total guest satisfaction.
