The Textile Sales Associate receives, sorts, prices, tags, and stocks donated textiles, helping move donations quickly from the drive-thru to the sales floor and supporting the smooth operation of a fast-paced retail store. The role reports to the Store Manager and/or Production Manager, who evaluates performance annually. The associate is expected to understand Goodwill’s mission, “Empower people to achieve their most abundant life,” and embody its core values: Relentless Pursuit of Excellence, Customer-First Mindset, Humble Confidence, Passion for Mission, and Do The Right Thing. The position has performance-based productivity levels measured in pieces per hour (PPH). The training rate is $11 per hour while below 80 PPH, with four weeks to achieve the 80-PPH goal. At 80–90 PPH, the rate increases to $15 per hour; at 91–110 PPH, it increases to $16 per hour after a three-week average at that level; and at 111–130+ PPH, it increases to $17 per hour after a three-week average at that level. Employees must maintain the applicable productivity level to retain high-performer pay. Daily PPH recording is mandatory and may affect pay. The posting describes coaching and improvement periods for employees who do not meet productivity goals, and notes that other duties may be assigned by the supervisor.
