About The Position

This role involves performing functional testing on products according to established procedures, monitoring test progress, recording data, and servicing test equipment. The position requires documenting test outcomes, demonstrating the use of various tools and equipment, and properly loading/unloading electronic equipment. Adherence to quality systems, continuous improvement efforts, and meeting customer deadlines are essential. The role also includes acquiring necessary skills and certifications, complying with safety and hazardous waste disposal programs, and following production schedules and quality requirements. Understanding the end use of manufactured products, proficient computer use (including SAP and work instructions), and demonstrating initiative to keep processes on schedule are key. The position may involve training others, interfacing with other functional groups to resolve issues, and participating in waste minimization and audits. Requesting necessary tools and supplies is also part of the responsibilities.

Requirements

U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.
Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

RF, Digital, Analog Circuit experience
Ability to read schematics
Working knowledge of DMM, Oscilloscope, Signal Generator, & Spectrum Analyzer
Basic component level troubleshooting experience

Responsibilities

Follows blueprints, guidelines, and/or diagrams to ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are met.
Performs functional testing per part specific pre-established test procedure.
Monitors tests through completion, record test data, and service test equipment as required.
Documents acceptance or failure results.
Demonstrates proper use of simple hand/machine tools, electronic/manual test equipment and mechanical measuring devices.
Performs proper loading and unloading of electronic equipment in test beds.
Complies with applicable elements of quality systems and participates in continuous improvement efforts (ACE).
Meets internal and external customer deadlines as determined by team.
Acquires applicable skill/knowledge/certification as required.
Complies with safety and hazardous waste disposal programs.
Follows plans for production schedules and quality requirements.
Understands end use of manufactured products.
Proficiently uses computer tools such as SAP and accurately follows work instructions.
Demonstrates initiative to keep processes moving and on schedule.
Trains others for technical tasks as needed.
Interfaces with other functional groups to update, inform, acknowledge, or resolve problems related to business issues.
Participates in waste minimization efforts.
Participates in audits.
Requests tools and supplies in accordance with project requirements as needed.
