The Testing Coordinator assists patients navigating the psychological assessment process by scheduling the appropriate follow up appointments, explaining the process, and answering questions from patients. Core Job Duties/Responsibilities: Follows multi -step scheduling procedure, providing support to both clients and providers as needed As needed, answers calls or other contact from patients; engages professionally, courteously, and with a high level of customer service with all individuals Identifies and resolves the client's needs and issues as they arise to ensure quality patient service Follow Testing team protocol for handling inquiries as they arise Participates as an active member of the Assessments team Maintains positive, professional relationships with teams across the organization and with outside referral resources Quotes insurance price and provides brief explanation of benefits. Maintains working knowledge of the different types of testing provided and relevant patient time commitments to provide a comprehensive explanation to the patient and/or guardian As needed, follows up with patients to confirm arrival and/or reschedule as needed Ensures compliance with all policies and procedures, including maintaining patient confidentiality, as well as compliance with best practices and regulatory agencies Communicates effectively within the organization, providing regular updates to supervisors and peers about current and completed tasks Other duties as assigned
