About The Position
The Testing Engineer will help operate a large-scale test automation lab for multiple Apple products and bring wireless connectivity technologies, including Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, into Apple products. The role works in a cross-functional, collaborative environment with global R&D and technology teams, integrating software and hardware deliveries and supporting wireless solutions across iOS, macOS, tvOS, and Apple Watch. This is a fixed-term position, with the possibility of extension.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in software/hardware integration, validation, or testing.
- Hands-on experience with physical setups.
- Strong technical troubleshooting and debugging capabilities.
- Motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with Python, Git, or other programming languages and source control.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or equivalent experience.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with wireless technologies, networking protocols, or test equipment.
- Experience with macOS/Linux system administration or production environments.
Responsibilities
- Operate a large-scale test automation lab for multiple Apple products as part of a team.
- Test and integrate software and hardware deliveries from global R&D teams.
- Manage, debug, and perform failure analysis of automated tests.
- Automate manual lab tasks and collaborate with technology teams to migrate additional setups to the lab.
- Continuously improve and innovate lab procedures, hardware setups, and software tools.
