About The Position

Join Apple’s wireless silicon development team, which develops wireless silicon with an emphasis on energy-efficient design and technologies that transform the product-level user experience. The organization includes engineering disciplines spanning RF/Analog, Systems/PHY/MAC, VLSI/RTL, emulation, design verification, test and validation, and firmware/software. The engineer will deliver an end-to-end RF integration solution, including DUT control development, pre-silicon emulation and simulation, and integrated RF calibration. This role connects phases from design development through product mass production. Responsibilities also include Wireless SoC-RF bring-up at first touch, final silicon validation results, and compliance. The position offers opportunities to develop technical depth across hardware and software, including wireless transceiver architecture, RF systems and DSP, software frameworks, RF drivers, embedded systems, and productization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Solid experience in RF parametric testing, such as IP3, NF, ACPR, phase noise, and load pull.
  • Strong working knowledge of RF test equipment, such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, vector signal analyzers, and vector signal generators.
  • Strong wireless RF background and familiarity with RF systems fundamentals, RF transceiver architectures, and/or digital communication.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in understanding RFIC block-level design schematics.
  • Some experience with RF PCB board design, debugging, and development.
  • Python programming experience is highly desired.
  • Experience with embedded systems and the C programming language.
  • Automation framework development experience.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver an end-to-end RF integration solution, including DUT control development, pre-silicon emulation and simulation, and integrated RF calibration.
  • Enable work across phases from design development toward product mass production.
  • Perform Wireless SoC-RF bring-up at first touch.
  • Deliver final silicon validation results and compliance.
