About The Position
Samsung Austin Semiconductor is hiring an experienced equipment technician to support all aspects of test technology operations. The technician works on probers, testers, and probe cards, helping maintain test-floor operations through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and parts management. The role requires strong computer skills to review data trends and use software for fab operations, along with a high level of safety awareness and a strong quality mindset. The position is full-time and on-site.
Requirements
- Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working on TEL, Keysight, Teradyne, and Advantest equipment.
- Ability to learn and adapt to a changing environment.
- Passion for learning and taking initiative to increase skill level.
- Safety and quality mindset.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintain test floor operations.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Repair down probers and testers.
- Handle probe cards, including probe card changes and repairs.
- Manage spare parts.
- Check data trends and use software for fab operations.
- Maintain a high level of safety awareness and a strong quality mindset.
