About The Position

CliftonLarsonAllen, LLP is hiring an Experienced Audit Associate to serve technology clients in New York City. The role performs significant audit and other assurance engagements, builds client relationships, and provides close attention to client needs. It offers a foundation for progression into leadership positions and specialized practice areas. The position includes audit and accounting procedures, complex audit areas and transactions, financial statement preparation, and coordination and supervision of staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Ability to travel to client sites.

Nice To Haves

• Current CPA or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam.
• One year of relevant experience; prior internship experience may be acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of audit and accounting procedures related to industry-specific issues.
• Audit complex areas or transactions and prepare financial statements and related reports.
• Schedule, delegate, and review staff work.
• Supervise, train, and mentor staff.
• Keep the Manager or Principal informed about engagement status and issues.
• Proactively communicate with clients and gather information to support timely engagement completion.
• Travel to client sites.
