About The Position

The Assurance team provides independent, objective services that bring transparency and confidence to financial reporting. Drawing on industry knowledge and a proactive, communicative approach, the team helps clients navigate complex reporting requirements. The Experienced Associate performs audit procedures, supports accurate and compliant financial reporting, builds client relationships, coordinates assigned work, and uses technology to improve processes. The role requires completion of continuing professional education to maintain technical proficiency and industry knowledge.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Must be eligible to sit for the CPA exam and meet the educational requirements defined by the applicable state board of accountancy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Flexibility to travel for client engagements and internal meetings, potentially including overnight stays.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant audit experience.
• Current and valid Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
• Experience with Caseware software for financial reporting and audit documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed audit procedures over various income statement and balance sheet accounts.
• Apply knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to support accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and identification of discrepancies or risks.
• Provide timely client support and cultivate strong relationships as a trusted advisor and partner.
• Collaborate with client management to identify issues and recommend practical solutions.
• Organize workflows, monitor progress, and complete assigned tasks on time and within budget and scope while delivering high-quality outcomes.
• Use technology tools effectively and contribute to process improvement and innovation.
• Complete Continuing Professional Education (CPE) requirements to maintain technical proficiency and industry knowledge.
