About The Position

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is hiring an Experienced DC Test Engineer for its Taylor site. The engineer will work with advanced technologies and devices and provide critical feedback to the fab based on DC test results. The role focuses on maintaining accurate test results through program and equipment troubleshooting, device characterization, and benchmarking with Samsung Korea. The position is full-time and on-site.

Requirements

• Knowledge of test structures and test methodologies.
• Ability to interpret and modify code on various platforms, including Basic, PERL, and UNIX.
• Integrity, good teamwork and communication skills, flexibility, a strong work ethic, and a sense of urgency on the job.

Nice To Haves

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Experience in a wafer probe manufacturing environment recommended.
• Keysight ATE and TEL prober knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Optimize test environment programs for DC testers.
• Ensure accurate and repeatable test results.
• Support special testing requests from Samsung Korea or internal T1 YE.
• Support tool installation and qualifications.
• Assist in troubleshooting equipment problems.
• Help sustain floor operations.
