About The Position

The Test Infrastructure Technician I supports Test Engineers in developing, commissioning, and qualifying test solutions, including fixtures and programs, according to the applicable system qualification process. The role provides deliverables that support production and works with Test Support and Manufacturing Operations to implement test solutions. The technician assists with building and manufacturing testers, fixtures, and environmental tooling. They provide documentation and coordinate training for test support and manufacturing teams, monitor and report on test yields, efficiency, intermittencies, and uptime, and contribute to improvement targets. In collaboration with Test Engineers, the role helps optimize test processes by balancing cost and coverage. The technician also coordinates test-readiness schedules with appropriate Test Support staff based on the weekly production schedule. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Ability to present information effectively and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to operate a personal computer with a Windows-based operating system and related software.
Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil software packages.
Ability to write simple correspondence and read and understand visual aids.
Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to perform arithmetic using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, and to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and interpret graphs.

Responsibilities

Support Test Engineers in developing and commissioning test solutions and qualify fixtures and programs according to the system qualification process.
Provide deliverables needed to support test solutions in production for Test Support and Manufacturing Operations.
Assist in building and manufacturing testers, fixtures, and environmental tooling.
Provide comprehensive documentation and training for implemented test solutions to the Test Support function.
Provide documentation and coordinate training and education for test operations with the Manufacturing function.
Work with Test Support to monitor and improve test yields, efficiency, intermittencies, and uptime, including accurate reporting and clear improvement targets.
Work with Test Engineers to upgrade and optimize test processes while balancing cost and coverage.
Coordinate prioritization of support activities with Manufacturing and Test Support.
Coordinate the test-readiness timetable with appropriate Test Support staff based on the weekly production schedule.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
