About The Position

Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) is seeking a Mid-Level Test & Evaluation Lab Tech to join our team in Patuxent River, MD. This role involves planning, conducting, and documenting tests on various products, systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes. The technician will also be responsible for designing, fabricating, building, and analyzing test systems, materials, components, software, and methodologies. Key duties include coordinating test requirements, determining appropriate test methods and capabilities, preparing systems for testing through integration, fabrication, modification, setup, checkout, and teardown. The position also requires troubleshooting and resolving laboratory and test-related issues, conducting tests, analyzing data, documenting results, and participating in test readiness reviews. Additionally, the role involves coordinating test laboratory activities and performing maintenance and repairs. The technician will coach and train others and work under general direction.

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
  • 3+ years of experience interpreting electrical engineering drawings, schematics, and definition
  • Experience inspecting, fabricating, installing, routing, terminating, soldering, and repairing electrical wiring harnesses; or any variety of electrical components, and associated equipment
