About The Position

Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) is seeking a Mid-Level Test & Evaluation Lab Tech to join our team in Patuxent River, MD. This role involves planning, conducting, and documenting tests on products, systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes. The technician will also design, fabricate, build, and analyze test systems, materials, components, software, and methodologies. Key responsibilities include coordinating test requirements, determining test methods, preparing systems for testing through integration, fabrication, modification, setup, checkout, and teardown. The role also requires troubleshooting and resolving laboratory and test-related problems, analyzing data, documenting results, and participating in test readiness reviews. Additionally, the technician will coordinate test laboratory activities and perform maintenance and repairs. This position involves coaching and training others and working under general direction.

Requirements

Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
3+ years of experience interpreting electrical engineering drawings, schematics, and definition
Experience inspecting, fabricating, installing, routing, terminating, soldering, and repairing electrical wiring harnesses; or any variety of electrical components, and associated equipment
